Words cannot express how much I miss you daddy.  It’s been a year and a few months since you left us but some memories never fade…thoughts, sounds, smells, experiences…makes it feels sometimes like just yesterday you were here.  Spring is here and that is when I really miss you.  Knowing how much you loved being outside – enjoying the beginning of the lawnmower season, helping others in the community in plowing their gardens, and seeing you always on the go driving by the house multiple times a day in your trademark orange-and-brown 70’s truck.  Although you were a father of few words, I know you loved us.  This is one of my favorite pictures of you before I was born.  I know you were quite shy of the camera and I have very few pictures of you.  You fought cancer as hard as you could before letting go.  Those last few moments I was with you, I know you couldn’t speak, but the look in your eyes let me know you were listening.  Your strength gave me strength.  I will always call you daddy and will always love you.
