Materials List: - My Mind's Eye: "So Sweet" Theme Set (MME021)
- My Mind's Eye: Brown Ribbon (Wild Asparagus Theme Set)
- Imagination Project: Raw Circle Coasters (IP015)
- We R Memory Keepers: "Family" Designer Eyelets (WR043)
- Heidi Swapp: Sandpaper (HS055)
Optional Materials: - Letter Stickers or Rub-Ons
- Nine 1x1.5" photos (You could use the thumbnail images from your index prints, or small pieces of patterned paper, stickers, or embellishments.)
Instructions: - Cut 6"x12" piece from Blue/Brown stripe paper and fold in half to make 6"x6" card (or cut 6"x6" piece and glue to front of a blank 6"x6" card), blue side facing out.
- Adhere 3 3/4" coaster circle to bottom right of card front, approx. 1/4- 1/2 inches from bottom and right edges.
- Cut two 6" strips from ribbon. Adhere vertical ribbon first, with the right edge of ribbon 2 inches from the card's right edge.
- Poke a hole in the other piece of ribbon 2 1/4" inches from one end. Set the green enamel eyelet through this hole. Adhere ribbon with its bottom edge 1-1 1/4 inches from bottom of card, aligning eyelet with vertical ribbon.
- Lay out pictures in a "dry run" (don't glue yet), then adhere row by row in straight lines as follows: Start with the top right corner, aligning this picture approx. 1/2" from the top and right edges. Fill in the rest of the photos in straight rows, keeping a 1/4" border between pictures and a 1/2" border around the edge of the card.
- Evenly place 8 rhinestones around the green eyelet to form a circle.
- Use letter stickers or rub-ons to add title to the card. When using letter stickers gently sand them with sandpaper while they're still on the sticker sheet for an easy, distressed look.
- Write your birthday greeting inside.
- Remember that 6"x6" cards require extra postage at the post office if you mail it!
