I made this layout for the Page Maps Challenge using the AUgust Kit.

The map is a 12 x 12 double page layout from the AUgust 2008 collection.

  I loved the orange and green combination of the pattern paper. I embellished the flowers with a colored brad and glued a little bling on the brad.

The title is cosmo cricket blackboard.  Love the funky letter shapes!

I painted the transparancy light blue on the back side in the middle, let it dry and then painted green all the way out to the edges.

The stem of the flower is chipboard swirl from Fancy Pants. Paint it green and then add a little green ink for dimension.

The journaling card is a piece left over from a previous months express kit. I believe it is Scenic Route.
