I used one of the file folders on the front of this card to hold notes, a gift card, etc. The two slips of paper sticking out of it come out and can hold a note or photos. I twirled the ribbon on the front and stuck it down with strategically placed glue dots for a 3-D effect.

This card can go either vertically or horizontally. I just adhered strips of acrylic ribbon and black fringe border, added the "Life is..." rub-on, and topped with two blackboard flowers. I turned the top flower so that it sat on TOP of the bottom flower, rather than inside it for added dimension.

This card is a great way to use up some scraps. Adhere a piece of the dotted paper to fit the front of the card (ink all edges), then add 2 strips of patterned paper along the right edge of the card as shown. Top with a piece of black border and one of the blackboard flowers. All done!

Another easy, but elegant card: cut out the light green journaling block from the 12x12 sheet, adhere to far right of light green card (ink edges). Add small strips of the acrylic ribbon and black border along the seam. I added a flower and brad from my stash to make it a little more feminine, but you could leave this out to keep it more gender-neutral. When you're ready to use the card, just write a personalized message on the lines!

This card is super easy - just cut a piece of the striped paper to fit the front of the card (ink all pieces), add a journaling block from the 12x12 journaling block page, layer a piece of ribbon with a knot tied in it over the front, and add letter stickers to complete the quote! You can add a personalized message such as..."It's your birthday" or "you did it!" or something as you use it.

This layout was a lot of fun - its 8.5x11, but turned horizontally for a different effect. The quote paper from the kit made it really easy to put together - I just layered the photos onto a piece of cardstock, slipped a bit of the scalloped border underneath and glued it to the quote paper. A few flowers and stickers...then slid an acrylic quote card behind it and I was done! For the quote card - I used a brad to secure a flower to the back of the card and glue dots to put a piece of the acrylic ribbon across the top. I found that a permanant craft marker worked great for the journaling - regular scrapbooking pens just wiped off.

The brown quote paper is perfect for special pictures - you can cut it out and layer it to get the wording in just the right spot! For this page, I put a few strips of the kraft paper through an old-fashioned label maker and inked them for my journaling. I added a strip of the quote paper, bordered by ribbon and one of the black borders. The flowers and letter stickers were the perfect finishing touch!

This month's kit turned out to be the perfect colors for my kids' new bedroom! This clipboard will be a spot for them to clip pictures, notes, etc. on their wall.
