About The Founders...
Amber Crowell

After graduating from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising and Marketing Amber landed her dream job as marketing manager for a regional shopping center, where she worked with individual retailers and store owners to market their stores and businesses, as well direct the overall marketing and advertising for the shopping center on a regional and national level. During her career, Amber received two national awards for her excellence in shopping center marketing. Amber also volunteered on community boards and business organizations, including the Davis Chamber of Commerce, Women in Business, Davis Foundation and local high school marketing boards. During this time Amber also cultivated a passion for her scrapbook hobby. After resigning from the shopping center to become a stay-at-home mom to her new baby, Amber spread her entrepreneurial wings and launched her own direct-sales scrapbook company in the basement of her home. Amber built her company from the ground up using the same marketing techniques she used as a marketing executive to grow and promote her own business. Today MemoryWorks has over 3,000 scrapbook consultants nationwide and continues to grow by leaps and bounds. MemoryWorks has expanded from a home-based operation to a 3,000 square foot office and warehouse, where Amber’s husband Kevin runs the day-to-day operations, managing eight employees, while Amber continues to do what she loves most - scrapbook, oversee the MemoryWorks vision and is mother to her three young children; Katelyn 6, Ashlyn 4, and Brock 3.
